Former WRSW Guild member, Sheila Winkler, has passed on. Her funeral is Friday, Sept 7, 2018. One of Sheila's last roles with the guild was assisting Publicity, donating her graphic arts skills. RIP.
There are just a few days left to view the display cabinets "From Sheep to Shawl" and "Needle Felting" at Kirtland Library (9267 Chillicothe Rd, Kirtland, Ohio). Please go see the displays that Show Committee put together - take a friend! The display comes down the last day of July, next Tuesday, July 31. In addition to the demonstrations we do for Wool Jamboree, Lake Farmpark has asked our Guild to offer four presentations (two each day) on various fiber arts . Please let Linda Christopher, email email@example.com know, ASAP, if you are willing to do a 30-60 minute presentation; this can be solo or with a ‘fiber friend.’Please bring Ivory bar soap donations for the Wool Jamboree Make 'n Take to the picnic! See you there : July 24 @ 6 pm.Also Kirtland Library (9267 Chillicothe Rd in Kirtland) display cases are loaded with WRSW items. One display is "Sheep to Shawl" and the other is "Needle Felting". Please go see the display during the month of July and give the show committee your feedback!

Just a reminder to those signed up to demonstrate at Sheep Shearing Weekend – it is this Saturday & Sunday, May 12 & 13 from 9:30 to 4:30. We will be in the Exhibit Hall. Please remember to sign the attendance sheet each day and check off the hours you were demonstrating! Bring your spindles, wheels, small looms – anything you can carry easily and set up for Lake Farmpark visitors to watch as we WRSW guild members work and play with fiber!
