Are you a spinner or felter who has thought about trying weaving? Rigid Heddle weaving is a nice way to start. We have a SIG (special interest group) of RH weavers that will present at our October meeting and share what they have been doing.
This is also an important meeting because the membership will vote on new officers. By now, you have seen the slate of nominees for 2019, so come prepared to vote.

Even though we don't have a September meeting, our by-laws require our proposed Slate of Officers for next year be announced in September.

We have presentations, demos, and of course you can enjoy the corn maze, sheep herding, fleece sales, and even a mozzarella cheese-making demo! Oh and VENDORS!!!!

Meeting: Voting on Library Issue.
It's that time of year .. .dues (of $25.00) can be turned in to Nora for the upcoming year. According to our RAAM guidelines, if you submit by end of September, you are awarded a point.
Also time to think about ways you may want to participate or head up a committee. There are many opportunities opening up for the new year. If you are interested or have questions, you can talk to JoEllen or someone on the nominating committee, which will be announced at this meeting.
