From President Bobbie Shafer:

*****DON'T FORGET*****
This weekend is the demo weekend at Farmpark for the guild.  If you did not sign up at the meeting, you are still welcome to come.  We are to be there between 9 and 4 on Saturday and 10 and 4 on Sunday.  We could use more people for Saturday morning.  Only two signed up.  You do not have to stay all day.  Bring anything you want to work on, in any fiber medium. Remember - The more the merrier!

Plans are going strong for our Fall Rigid Heddle workshop with Constance Hall - at present we have 15 of the 20 places filled with excited students.  If you've been thinking about joining us but just haven't gotten around to it, I hope this will be just the encouragement that you need.  Look for the workshop flyer under the Workshops tab.

Since we are getting down to the end of registration, please contact Nancy Curtiss for availability of space.  Once we've reached our student limit we'll begin a waiting list for those interested.  Notification of openings will begin August 2, after we've reached the deadline for balance of deposit with the existing list of students.  This is sure to be a fun and dynamic workshop - and a great chance to make some new friends as we're now getting registrations from people outside of the guild.  I hope that you can join us!

Western Reserve Spinners & Weavers Exhibit - April 2 - 29, 2016.

Be sure to stop in at the Kirtland Library to see the fantastic display of woven, spun, felted, bobbin lace and other items created by members of the Guild. There are spindles, fleeces and other things used to create all these beautiful items.
