John’s Country nursery (15808 Old State Rd, Middlefield, OH 44062) is hosting their 3rd annual honey bee festival on Sept 17  from 10:00 – 5:00.    It would be great to have some folks demonstrating.  They would appreciate any form of fiber demonstration that we can provide. (Spinners, rigid heddle, pin loom, etc.)  We will be sitting under an open air structure and not in a closed greenhouse.

Apple butter Festival at Lake FarmPark   October 1, 2 from 10:00-4:00 Our guild has agreed to supply volunteers for 2 weekends each year in order to be able to host our meetings at the park.  While guild members are not required to demonstrate, it would be wonderful if all of us that are able to, could donate at least 1-2 hours of time so that WRSW can continue to meet in this wonderful location.

Stan Hywet is holding their Ohio Mart and Textile Arts and Artisan Show Oct 6 – 9 from 10:00 – 4:00  WRSW will have 2 long tables set up.   They are interested in all sorts of demonstrations.  There is a form to fill out for those of you that are planning to help out. I will learn more about this event and the “form” on a zoom call and will pass that that along.
