The Handbook Committee (JoEllen Salkin, Mo Doerner, Nancy Curtiss, Sheri Gittinger & Bobbie Shafer) have concluded revisions to update and align with our Guild by-laws. The Executive Committee has reviewed and now it is time for our members to review. We will be voting on passage at the November meeting (11/27/18). Please note that if you are interested in chairing a committee next year, this is where you will find the duties and responsibilities of these positions. Thanks.

She will talk about her book, Wool, Unraveling an American Story of Artisans and Innovation - A must-read for anyone who has knitted socks, woven a tapestry, or curled up with a warm wool blanket. Are you a spinner or felter who has thought about trying weaving? Rigid Heddle weaving is a nice way to start. We have a SIG (special interest group) of RH weavers that will present at our October meeting and share what they have been doing.
This is also an important meeting because the membership will vote on new officers. By now, you have seen the slate of nominees for 2019, so come prepared to vote.
