My challenge to the Guild for 2024 is to create a work which acknowledges a family story or stories. This work could be something which references a particular individual or could even reflect your family’s genealogy and history. I hope that this challenge will conjure some fond memories as you work and perhaps even stimulate you to do a little more research within your family about those stories.
When we show our work at the annual meeting next February, it will provide a great opportunity to share a little more about ourselves with fellow Guild members but perhaps you will also have created a family heirloom to keep those family stories alive.
