Hi All,

Just a quick reminder that our spring demonstration days at LFP are now called “Lamb Jam”.  The guild is required to demonstrate at Lake Farmpark for one weekend in the spring and again in the fall in order to continue to hold our meetings there for free.  Lamb Jam is on 4/29 and 4/30.  We are demoing from 10:00-4:00

So far, I have 4 people signed up for each day and a few others have mentioned that they plan to stop by.  There is no time requirement.  Come at any time and demonstrate any textile related craft that you’d like.

Lamb Jam will be held in the arena this year.  The floor with be covered and heaters will be provided, depending on the weather.  Also, you will be able to drive up to the arena and park in a lot nearby.

I will check on whether or not you will able to drive into the park once the event is open to the public.

I will also have my signup sheets at the next guild meeting (April 25)

Reasons to demonstrate:

1. Help out the guild

2. It’s fun to interact with others in a non-structured environment

3. You will earn 1/4 RAAM point for each hour that you are there

4. educate folks who are attending the event
