Yarn “tells us the story of the artists who are redefining the tradition of knit and crochet, bringing yarn out of the house and into the world.  Reinventing our relationship with this colorful tradition, Yarn weaves together wool graffiti artists, circus performers, and structural designers into a visually-striking look at the women who are making a creative stance while building one of modern art’s hottest trends.

We will meet in a classroom, not the theater due to the park’s winter holiday decorations.  (Yvonne has the disc and DVD player, and we will stream it to Zoom via a mounted cell phone and WiFi connection.  Hopefully).  There will be time for a brief discussion and business meeting to follow.

Please RSVP to Karen whether you will attend the Guild’s Annual Holiday luncheon.  If you would like to participate in our tradition of a handmade gift exchange, please bring something wrapped, worth approximately $15, made by yourself or someone else to enjoy the game of blind exchange.  It’s always fun to watch!

Our next meeting as a full Guild will be February 25, 2025 for the annual Business meeting.  At that time we will enjoy seeing the results of the President’s Challenge* as well as review the budget and audit committee’s findings.  We have some really great programs lined up for the coming year, so don’t miss out!

*The President’s Challenge – and yes, there is still time to get an entry together – is to create something which reflects a family story, heritage or person special to your fiber life.  Go Wild!
